Research roadmap / evidence before chronology

Every result has
a gate before it.

Seven gates separate completed observations from an admissible mechanism claim. Select a stage to see the evidence in hand, the dependency that blocks it, its falsifier, and the condition that stops promotion.

Current decision point

Terminal-data gates S04–S07 pass. Luna's 220 clean games are terminal and frozen. DeepSeek has 100 clean games in terminal rows, but its public cohort is interim and unfrozen; publication authorization is not granted. No terminal DeepSeek rating is public. Mechanism claims remain gated by the paired-data and evaluator path.

The selected tab identifies the current research stage; stages describe evidence gates, not completion percentages.

Adaptive ladder

Is the complete agent measured under one finished protocol—or only observed midstream?

Decision rule. Admit protocol-specific cohort estimates only after terminal collection, error accounting, rating, and freeze agree; a ladder score is not unaided model strength.

Operating doctrine

Build downstream.
Claim upstream.

01

Parallelize instruments

Software, analysis, and public explanations can advance while collection runs.

02

Serialize evidence

No downstream result may silently outrun the artifact it depends on.

03

Publish refusals

A closed gate is a scientific result when its reason is explicit and testable.

04

Separate states

Observed, provisional, preregistered, and hypothetical claims never share a label.
